Peace and light on your journey Dennis.
Because this blog fits into the humor niche, I have never brought into these pages my personal life when I am experiencing difficult times. However, due to a close friend's serious illness in addition to another close friend's death which just occurred yesterday, I must take a much needed break to collect myself - to regroup and to grieve. It's been rather difficult going through the motions here over the past several months, especially when my heart is breaking.
I'm not sure how long this process will take - a few days, a couple of weeks or maybe even a month. Never fear, I will not be completely be absent from the blogosphere, I will most definitely continue to visit your blogs from time-to-time.

I am so sorry for your loss, grief has to be taken slowly, I know from expereience,
ReplyDeleteI lost my mum 12 yrs ago, 3 days later was told my husband had terminal brain cancer and he too left me 2 months later.
I was devastatd as you can imagine.Everyone grieves differently, so take time....all the time you need.

ReplyDeleteI am so sorry Me-Me. The grieving process is jut that, a process. To get through it at the worst times, I would visualize standing in the ocean and watch the waves hit me. Sometimes they hit so hard I fell down, but I managed to get back on my feet. Sometimes they were small waves that were like warm memories swirling around me. But eventually I weathered the storm.

Ah, heavens, I'm so sorry to hear what you're going through. You know we'll all be there when you come back, whenever that is.
