Sea Of Joy

It was in 1969 when Eric Clapton, Steve Winwood, Ginger Baker and Ric Grech formed Blind Faith and released their only album which was self-titled. Sea of Joy has always been my favorite cut from this album. Enjoy!

  1. Hum...Why is 60's music appealing to me now days? Pass me that prune juice and help me get up off this couch, K?

  2. @ Cat Lady - Even though 40 years has passed, it's not so hard to believe this one still works for many.

@ Geek Girl - I hear ya! Although, I'm not quite ready for a Hover-Round, this tune definietly marks the time. Seems just like yesterday...

  3. Happens to be one of my favorite bands and songs from back in the day! Eric Clapton was a huge influence on me back when I was an aspiring Hippie rock and roller. Groovy flash from the past, Margo - thanks!

  4. Sea of Joy's great but I just love Clapton's Presence of the Lord. A great album by a group that split far too soon.

  6. @ Mavin - Once an aspiring hippie rock and roller, always an aspiring hippie rock and roller.

@ Dufus - Yes, I love that one too. Dis you know Blind Faith hit only 4 US cities while touring? Can you name them?

@ Don - Glad I was able to cause you to recollect. Groove out!

  7. Ahh, memories! Love this song! Thanks for putting this on here - ya know, we forget so much (well I do anyway) of our favorite music of yesteryear, that it's nice to be refreshed by it!

  8. I must admit, I prefer the Thanksgiving song.
    Turkey for you
    Turkey for me
I can't believe Tyson gave that girl v.d.
I'll be singing that all week now!
